Anna Chlumsky

Anna Chlumsky is a critically well-known American actress, who came to prominence as a child actor in the films 'My Girl", and its sequel "My Girl 2". Anna Chlumsky continued to delight audiences by playing lead parts in movies like "Trading Mother," and Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain. Her performances in these films brought her many high-profile awards at the start of her career. During high school it was apparent that she had lost her interest in the entertainment business. She did not see all her fellow students at film shoots. She started to lose interest to perform and was more focused on pursuing her studies. The goal was food reporter, however, the only position she received was a fact checker at Zagat restaurant guide. It was a disaster for her job as an assistant editor at HarperCollins. After receiving advice from her agent, she made the decision to return to acting. They took acting classes to increase the skills she had developed. In the following months, she got the part of Liza in 'In The Loop which led her acting as a character in Off Broadway plays. While she often ponders what might have happened different if she had not been able to stop acting however, she's grateful that she took the time off.
